Ozzy Agu is an Actor who was born in Texas, USA but raised in Port Harcourt, capital city of Rivers State, south-south Nigeria.^[8]

Ozzy is a linguist and he speaks Thai. Agu joined the United States Peace Corps (Thailand) in a period during which he set out on soul-looking through where he was hit with the revelation to join the movie industry.

As a youth empowerment aficionado, Agu developed an interest in the well-being of youths and education on HIV/AIDS prevention whilst in Thailand as a Peace Corp member, thus, his enthusiasm for showing up on ‘Shuga’. For the sixth season of ‘Shuga’, he joins the cast as Cyril, a middle-aged family man who tutors Laila (Jemima Osunde), guarding her through the rough road to adulthood and helps her control certain adolescent extravagance.^[1][5]

Ozzy Agu took a lot of classes in acting and his first degree was in Business Administration, but as time went on, he found out that performing was really something that sparked a fire in him, so he took acting classes.
