Owen grew up in New York and attended Brighton High School where he recently graduated in 2017. An athlete, Owen was a member of his high school's lacrosse team and was a defenseman. He was planning to start classes at the University of Rochester in the fall. In his free time, Owen enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Own is remembered for his positive attitude and kindness towards others.
Death
On the evening of August 10th, Owen and friends were on a boat in Waneta Lake when he fell overboard in an accident.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
