Oren Liebermann is an award winning journalist and author based in Jerusalem. He is CNN's Jerusalem correspondent covering major news stories across Israel, the Palestinian territories, and the wider region. [1]
Education
Liebermann graduated from Ocean Township High School. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia, receiving a Bachelor of Science in commerce. [1]
He attained a M.S. in broadcast journalism from Syracuse University in 2005. [1]
Career
From September 2010 to August 2013, Liebermann served as a general assignment reporter in Philadelphia for CBS 3. While working for CBS 3, he reported on major stories across Pennsylvania including Hurricane Sandy and the Penn State sex abuse scandal. [1]
CNN
Liebermann joined the network in 2015.
One of his first assignments was to report on the Israeli elections.
In April of the same year, Liebermann covered the earthquake that struk Nepal. He has also interviewed former President of Israel Shimon Peres. [1]
