Oren Aharon Cohen is a 35 year-old Israeli man visiting Tempe, Arizona in the United States, who broke into an apartment and was found holding the tenant's baby in his lap while he had his pants down. It appears that he was living in Los Angeles, California according to his Facebook. ^[1]

In the early morning of December 15th, 2016, Oren found himself in the wrong home.

He had been drinking with his friend inside an apartment that is part of a gated community.

Already drunk, he stepped outside to get a smoke.

He then entered the wrong the apartment.

Once inside the apartment, it has been reported that he helped himself to Orange juice and used the bathroom. He then entered the bedroom of where the toddler was located. According to reports, he took the 2 year-old girl into his arms, and had pulled down his pants. The father of the girl then heard whimpering and cries coming from her daughter's room and instantly went to inspect. He found Oren standing there holding the girl in his arms.

Oren put the girl down and said to the father, "I' am your friend".

The father then had an altercation with Oren that led to his escape from the apartment.

The mother called 911 to give a report as the father chased Oren down the street.

The father caught him and brought him to the ground, held there until the cops arrived.

Tempe Police officers arrived and quickly neutralized Oren by using a stun gun.

During a forensic investigation, the victim told police the “bad man” gave her an “ouchie” and pointed to her buttocks.

The victim’s father told investigators that the girl was still wearing the pajamas she had gone to bed in as well as the same diaper.

Cohen’s shoes were found in the girl’s bedroom, his coat was wedged between her mattress and the wall and his Israeli passport on the floor, according to police.

Once the police read him his rights, Oren told the police he was visiting a friend and got so drunk he didn't remember anything.

He claims that he was in a dark room when he saw a "Midget", which is a derogatory term for Dwarf. He revealed in a statement that he "played with the midget" and decided to pick her up. He described the small person in a way that matched the 2 year-old. He insisted that in now way he engaged sexually with the victim.

Police said Cohen broke down into tears when he was told the victim was a 2-year-old girl, saying he would never hurt a child, but did not remember the incident because he was “black out drunk.”

Cohen was charged on Friday morning with one count of aggravated assault on a minor, one count of kidnapping and one count of second-degree burglary.

He holds a $250,000 bond.
