Oluwatosin Olaseinde

Oluwatosin Olaseinde is the Founder of Money Africa, a financial literacy and investment platform. She is a chartered accountant with over 10 years of experience spanning across audit, financial accounting, corporate finance and investments.[1]

Education

Olaseinde attended Queen's College, Yaba Lagos in 1998 and graduated in 2004.

She also attended Greenwich College, Nigeria. Olaseinde graduated from University of Johannesburg with her Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation and Financial Management in 2008.[2]

Career

Olaseinde started her career as a Senior Auditor at Crowe Horwath International - Global Corporate Advisors (GCA) Johannesburg Area, South Africa in 2009. She left her role at Crowe in 2012 and joined CNBC Africa, South Africa where she was one of 8 contestants, who traded on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange with virtual cash of R100,000.00. She was mentored by high profile industry experts, trained on fundamental and technical analysis skills, real time monitoring of the market trend and analysed companies on the stock exchange.

She also worked as a Financial Reporter/Researcher at CNBC Africa, Lagos in 2013. [2]

Olaseinde worked as a Financial Analyst at Phoenix Global Capital, Lagos from 2013 to 2015 and as a Senior Financial Analyst at Bloomberg Television Africa, Lagos from 2015 to 2016. She provided commercial and financial advice on capital investment and other operational issues in the 14 different markets in West Africa as a Commercial Finance Manager (West Africa Markets) at British American Tobacco, Lagos from 2016 to 2017. Olaseinde founded Money Africa, an edtech and financial literacy platform in 2018.[3][4]
