Olivia Dekker born April 8 1993, in Kansas City, Missouri, is an American television personality and also a former model, who is famous for being one of the ESPN’s young stars, serving as its college American football sideline Journalist.

She is also known recognized as the spouse of an American professional basketball player, a member of the PBC Lokomotiv Kuban basketball team, Sam Dekker.

Olivia was born on the 8th April 1993, in Kansas City, Missouri.

She is one out of four children of Ann and Kevin Harlan.

She is of American nationality and white ethnicity and has two sisters, named Haley and Abigail, and a brother named Bryan.

Her Father Kelvin Harlan, is the announcer of television and radio sports.

At her age of 17, she was honored with the flattering title of the Miss Kansas Teen USA 2010 and then went on to participate at the Miss Teen USA 2010 beauty pageant.

She attended the Henry W. Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia, from which she graduated with honors in 2014, earning her Bachelor’s degree in digital and broadcasting journalism. She is the granddaughter of Bob Harlan, born on the 9th September 1936 in Des Moines, Iowa, who was the Sports Information Director of Marquette University, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, from which he also graduated.

Olivia and Sam Dekker first met in Houston, Texas, in 2016 and shortly after began dating. In May 2017 he popped the question and after being engaged for 13 months, the two exchanged their marriage vows on the 15th July 2018 at a ‘fairytale-like’ themed wedding ceremony held at the Horseshoe Bay Golf Club in Door County, Wisconsin.

As an alternate to their wedding gifts, the couple asked their guests to donate funds to the Children’s Cancer Family Foundation, raising a total of more than $65,000.

This selfless gesture of generosity earned them The Sheboygan Press’ 2018 People of the Year accolade.

Olivia Dekker’s professional career began right upon her graduation, when she was appointed as the Fox Sports South reporter covering the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and the Southeastern Conference (SEC) college football games, as well as the National Basketball Association (NBA) Atlanta Hawks’ games, serving as a sideline reporter. Prior to joining ESPN in 2015, she also served as a reporter for the Raycom Media, Inc. broadcasting company, hosted the Green Bay Packers’ daily web series, aired from their training camp, and appeared as the franchise’s sideline reporter for the Packers TV Network.

With ESPN, she began serving as its college football games reporter, having honed her professional skills, and is currently serving alongside Kelly Stouffer r and Jason Benetti as a co-host of the network’s live game presentation broadcast named “ESPN College Football Friday Primetime” which airs on the ESPN2 channel.

Alongside her father Kevin Harlan, she made history as the first ever father-daughter duo covering the NFL game for Westwood One, when the Green Bay Packers faced the San Francisco 49ers in October 2018.
