Early Life and Education
A native of Ukraine, Feldmeier graduated from Vasyl Stefanyk Subcarpathian National University in 1999 with a Diploma in Economics and Finance, and went on to attend Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich, Germany, from which she received a Diploma in Banking and Finance in 2004. [1] [undefined]
Career
From 2004 to 2010 Feldmeier worked as a management consultant in the Financial Services practice of the Boston Consulting Group in Munich. Feldmeier then worked for 18 months in London as a Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Barclays Investment Bank, before moving to Zürich where she served as an Executive Director in the Wealth Management division of UBS. It was during her time in Zürich that Feldmeier first became interested in cryptocurrencies, and she helped establish Switzerland's Crypto Valley initiative. Feldmeier left UBS in 2014, and in 2015 joined Xapo, a multicurrency wallet provider, as its Commerical Managing Partner responsible for the Swiss market. Feldmeier left Xapo in early 2017 to co-found SMART VALOR, a blockchain company that is building a decentralized marketplace for tokenized alternative investments, where she also serves as CEO.
