Arrest

On October 19, 2016, Zhownirovych was arrested in Overland Park, Kansas after he picked up a napping baby from her mother's cart and put his hands around the infant’s neck while in line at a Wal Mart. [1] Bystanders and security staff took the child back and held him down until Police arrived. [1]

Charges

Zhownirovych faces charges of Aggravated battery causing intentional harm. [1] He remains Incarcerated on a $100,000 bond. [1]
