Ny' Zarria Kitchings was a 16 year old from Salley, South Carolina who died in a car crash on January 13th, 2017. [2]

She attended Wagener-Salley High School where she received the silver medal for Career Investigation STAR event at the 2016 FCCLA Spring Leadership Conference in Charleston, South Carolina. [8]

She was known by her classmates as a very smart and funny girl whom they would often have a good time with.

At around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, 13th, 2016, Ny'Zarria was a passenger in a 1999 Toyota driven by Willie Albert Seawright Jr., a man who was wanted by the Salley Police Department for shooting a pedestrian back in November, 2016.

A police officer had identified Seawright, and a chase ensued on Hollow Creek Road near John Nunn Highway in Perry.

At one point during the chase, Seawright lost control of his car and crashed into a tree.

Ny'Zarria was not wearing her seatbelt at the moment of the crash.

She was pronounced at 12:09 a.m. on January 14th, 2016.

Seawright was on the Sheriff's Office most wanted list.

He was taken to Augusta University Medical Center and is in critical condition.
