Nyah James

Nyah James was a student at Bishop Gore School who resided in Blaenymaes, Swansea. [1]

Personal Life

She was a was a year 10 pupil at Bishop Gore School. [1] She was popular with both her fellow pupils and school staff. [1]

Suicide

On February 6, 2017, Nyah was found dead in her bedroom by her mum at their home in Blaenymaes, Swansea. [1] Nyah's mum, Dominique, said she took an overdose of prescription tablets after being relentlessly bullied on the social media apps. [1]

She had come home from visiting friends and had asked to watch a film in her room.

[1] At around 9:30 p.m. when Nyah was sleeping, Dominique noticed her prescription tablets had gone missing. [1]

Her family has set up a Justgiving page to help pay for her funeral. [undefined]
