Ntobeko Sishi is a South African Actor best known for playing the role Ntokozo on television series Gomora. Gomora is a show that debut on Mzansi Magic in March 2020. [1]
Career
Ntobeko was previously a Presenter with SABC 2's Hectic Nine-9 which he joined in May 2019. He has also played a Lead role in Signal High, an SABC 2 high school Drama that aired from 29 June 2018 – 21 September 2018.
In 2020 he landed his first acting role in Television when he was cast in the Mzansi Magic Telenovela Gomora. In it he stars as Ntobeko, the son of Mondli and Gladys, who chooses to seek out the kind of love and Appreciation he doesn't get at home in all the wrong places. [2]
It was Ntobeko's first Professional acting role on Television.
Education
Ntobeko studied at George Campbell School of Technology. He has got a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Finance at the University of Cape Town (UCT) and Postgraduate diploma in Management, Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies (UCT). [3] [4]
Gomora
Ntobeko has revealed that he didn't Audition for the role of Ntokozo which he plays on Gomora but had gone for a Television show called Nkululelo because he couldn't speak Xhosa. However the Production house was impressed with his Performance and gave them the role when they cast for Gomora.
"I had initially auditioned for the same production company that made Gomora when they did Nkululelo but I did not get the role because they wanted a Xhosa speaking lead and I am Zulu. They kept my Audition tapes and when they were looking for someone to play Ntokozo I got a call to audition for the role and I got it and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I am humbled to be surrounded by such great and legendary Actors to learn from."

He hails from Durban.

Ntobeko is also a Musician who has released two Singles to date "All Night" and "Either Way".
