Norma Constanza Nivia Giraldo (b. Líbano, Tolima, Colombia, April 3, 1979) is a Colombian actress and model.^[1]

Since her college years, Nivia has been passionate about theatre.

She moved to Bogotá to study bacteriology at the Colegio Mayor de San Bartolomé, dropping out only after a few months to devote herself to acting. In the meantime, to support herself, she worked as a waitress whilst taking theatre lessons.^[9]

Nivia began her artistic career as a model in 1995 when she was offered to take part in a make-up catalog.^[10] On this occasion, she was discovered by the director of the Stock Model agency who called on her to become part of the group in 1997.^[11] As a model, she worked in Spain, Miami and Mexico. From 2001, she represented some clothing brands, including Versace, Guess, Louis Vuitton and Oscar de la Renta and in August 2001, she made an appearance on the catwalk at Morumbi Fashion in São Paulo.^[10]

She made her acting debut in 1999 on RCN's soap opera Yo soy Betty, la fea as part of the Eco Moda model group. She followed up with roles in Zona rosa, Nuevo Rico Nuevo Pobre, and Un bandido honrado, among others.^[2]

In 2013, Nivia played "Caterina Vladimoff" in the TV series Chica vampiro. Since 2014, she has been the protagonist of the stage play ¿De qué hablan las mujeres en el baño?.^[14]

During 2017, she took part in three episodes of the television drama 2091 in the role of "Ianna" and is the main antagonist of the telenovela Cuando vivas conmigo.
