Niyati Joshi (born June 25, 1988) is an Indian Actress who predominantly works in Hindi and Marathi Movies and TV series. She is best known for TV series Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (2019-20), Hai Apna Dil Toh Awara (2016) and Bahu Begum (2019).^[1]

Niyati was born and brought up in Pune, Maharashtra. She completed her schooling from from Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune. She studied at Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce and graduated with a Bachelors degree from Savitribai Phule Pune University. ^[2]

Niyati had been always keen on acting since her childhood days.

She participated in various cultural activities in school.

She made her acting debut in 2002 in the TV series "Kumkum" She took a break to complete her education. She returned in 2006, and appeared in TV serial ‘Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann’ and ‘Rakt Sambandh ’. In 2007, she acted in Gujarati drama called ‘Chahera par Moharu’. She acted in cameo roles in many Hindi Soap operas like Virrudh (2007), Meri Doli Tere Angana (2007), Love Ne Mila Di Jodi (2009), Chotti Bahu (2008-10), Dil Se Diya Vachan (2010), Byaah Hamari Bahoo Ka (2012), Hongey Judaa Na Hum (2012) ,Piya Rangrezz (2015). She also appeared in crime series Savdhaan India's Crime Alert segment.^[1][3]

She made her silver screen debut in the English movie "For Here or to Go?" in 2015.

In 2016 she worked in Marathi movie "Kaay Raav Tumhi"^[12] She rose to fame playing leading role in Bollywood movie "Hai Apna Dil Toh Awara" in 2016.^[13] It changed her career and she was offered leading roles in many TV series after. Since then she has acted in popular series like Tenali Rama (2017)^[10], Bahu Begum (2019)^[11] and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (2019-20).^[1]

She also appears in web series and has worked in web series like ‘Dance Bar‘ (2019) Ullu App and ALTBalaji's ‘Boss: Baap of Special Services’.

Niyati lives in Mumbai. She is active on social media. She is a popular personality on Instagram and has over 76k followers on it.^[4]
