As a college student, he starred in the 2013 film Reggaeton: The Movie, and was already refocusing his talent by picking up the mike as another dimension in his performances.[2]

Nio Garcia was signed by the Flow Music label boss and entrepreneur DJ Nelson, and became his first producer. In 2015, Garcia's Debut single, "Infinitamente," was released, followed by the video that got over 250,000 views.

In August 2016, he issued "Borracho & Loco" as a single and video simultaneously, and doubled his views on YouTube. That December he hit the charts for the first time with a remix of the track featuring Bryant Myers and Randy, scoring even higher in the Latin urban charts.

Garcia spent most of 2017 touring, but he was able to release five singles, including "Mi Mujer" and "Loba."

He also worked with a number of other artists, including Franco El Gorila, Ozuna, Lito Kirino, Anuel AA, and Darkiel Omar.

2018 proved to be Garcia's breakthrough as his April single, a remix of "Te Boté" featuring Bad Bunny and Casper Magico, charted all over the globe streaming, while his videos garnered millions more views.

“Te Bote” was born while Hurricane Maria was passing through Puerto Rico. Magico and Garcia finished the original song after they were able to travel to Orlando, Florida. Later, Darell, Bad Bunny, Ozuna and Nicky Jam joined the collaboration.
