Nina Griscom

Nina Griscom

Nina Griscom grew up in Manhattan and attended Miss Porter's and Barnard College before embarking on a modeling and acting career. (Among her credits: She appeared in a Gillette "Bare Elegance" commercial clad only in a towel.) Fame never quite followed, but she fared a good deal better on the dating front. She married rich and quickly became a fixture on the city's benefit and gala circuit. Over the past two decades, Griscom has dabbled a bit in broadcasting—she co-hosted a show on the Food Network entitled Dining Around with food critic Alan Richman during the 1990s. But she's since turned her attention to retail, and maintains an eponymous storefront on 70th and Lexington where she sells such items as her own line of scented candles, rather appropriately named "Revenge," "Flirt," and "Sultry."
