On Tuesday February 20, 2018, authorities found her in a black Lincoln MKZ behind the William P. Rosebush Drain Maintenance Center in Bangor Township, Michigan. ^{[undefined] [undefined]}

With Landrum in her car was the body of her 3-year-old daughter, Mikayla A. Walker.

The body of her son, 2-year-old Dariel J. Walker II, was outside the vehicle.

Investigators stated that Landrum put her two children in her Black Lincoln and drove north to Bay County, Michigan where she stopped at the industrial park. ^{[undefined] [1]}

She picked a spot off the main road.

That's when police stated she shot Mikayla and DJ in the head, then turned the gun on herself.
