Nickolas Donnelly was a freshman at Shoreham-Wading River High School.

He was a two-sport athlete in Baseball and Wrestling, and was well-liked by his peers.

Death

On Tuesday October 4th, Nickolas went for a jog around 10 a.m.

He was not in school that day because the community was observing Rosh Hashanah.

[1]Nickolas never returned, and the next morning around 7:50 A.M. his body was found in the woods a mile away from his house.

Authorities do not believe that criminal action was involved and conclude that his death was most likely a suicide.
