Nicholas "Nick" Joseph Viall (born September 29, 1980) is the star of The

Bachelor Season 21. He

is an account executive at Salesforce.com and has worked at a variety of different roles in sales. ^[8]

He lives in Chicago, Illinois but was born and raised in Waukesha, Wisconsin, a suburb of Milwaukee.

On August 30, 2016, Nick Viall was announced as the star of Season 21 of The

Bachelor on the finale of Bachelor in Paradise (season 2). During

Bachelor in Paradise, he dated Jen Saviano however the couple later broke up. ^[8]

Nick Viall was runner-up on The Bachelorette (season 11) where he competed for Kaitlyn Bristowe's heart.

He was also runner-up on The Bachelorette (season 10) where he vied for Andi Dorfman's heart.

On the first episode, he received a first impression rose.

In Episode 7 (Week 6 in Venice, Italy), Nick admits to himself that he is falling in love with Andi Dorfman.

He entered the season on Week 4 and asked Kaitlyn if they could continue a relationship they began on social media.

Nick graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2004 with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting, and Operations Management.

While at the college he was the captain of the track team and set a school record for the 3,200-meter relay.

He graduated from Waukesha North High School in 1999.

As a senior at Waukesha North High School, Nick won the state championship in the 800-meter run at the 1999 WIAA Track And Field Championship.
