Early Life & Education

Nick Martell grew up in the Bronx. He attended Ethical Culture Fieldston School. Subsequently, he attended Middlebury Univeristy. He eventually transferred to Brown University as a long-stick midfielder on the lacrosse team. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in History.

In 2017, he was admitted into the The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania to earn his M.B.A.

Career

Nick Martell has worked in finance at UBS and a non-profit called Endeavor where he connected emerging markets with mentors and VCs.

MarketSnacks

In November 2011, Nick Martell and Jack Kramer co-founded MarketSnacks, a daily newsletter geared to make financial news clear and concise. As of late 2017, the newsletter reaches over 100,000 daily with an open rate of 40%.

Awards & Accomplishments

In November 2017, it was announced that Nick Martell and his Marketsnacks co-founder Jack Kramer made the Forbes 30 Under 30 for 2018; they were listed in the 'Media' category.

Personal Life

Nick is a native New Yorker.

He is a hockey fan and supports the New York Rangers; claims he "constantly relives the Rangers '94 Stanley Cup".
