Nicholas Fuentes
Nicholas Fuentes
Nicholas "Nick" J. Fuentes (b. August 18, 1998) is an American right-wing political commentator from La Grange Park, Illinois. He is the host of "America First with Nick Fuentes", formerly hosted on Right Side Broadcasting Network and now explicitly housed on his personal YouTube page. Fuentes is known for his evocative style.
Education
Fuentes graduated from Lyons Township High School, where he was student council president. [1] He was attending Boston University, but withdrew after he joined a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia on August 12, 2017, and posted a Facebook status promising that a tidal wave of white identity is coming. [1]
Less than an hour after the Facebook post, a car driven by James Alex Fields Jr. plowed into a crowd of counter-protesters, killing Heather Heyer. Fuentes, personally, is in no way affiliated to Fields and is not supportive of the movement Fields' subscribes to. [1] Fuentes soon received death threats on his social media accounts and plans to transfer to Auburn University, in a red state.
Online Presence
Fuentes garnered media attention in 2016 for his support of President Donald Trump and his YouTube videos, in which he espoused his views about the failure of multiculturalism, immigration and his anger about what he said has been the marginalization of white people.
