Nia Alegria (born July 31, 1997) is an American model and entrepreneur from Miami, United States, currently based in Los Angeles, California.
Personal life
Born in Miami, United States, Alegria is of Puerto Rican descent. Her childhood wasn't particularly special; it took place in a very familiar environment. She has always been attracted to the world of cheerleading, probably encouraged by her mother, Milka Alegria, who was a cheerleader for the Miami Dolphins in 1992.[51]
Her mother currently works as the Director of Operations at Miami Children's Health System.[52]
He also prayed for his daughter Nia and for a relative named Diego Alegria, for a tumor he was suffering from.[53]
Friendships
Being a fashion model and traveling to many places for work and attending all kinds of promotional events, her social life is very intense.
This does not prevent her from having a special and intimate friendship with specific people, such as a close friend called Magdalena [55] whom she has shown great affection to on Instagram, Facebook [56] as well as on Twitter.
On the professional side, her agent, friend and mentor James died on May 18, 2018.
He was the one who motivated her to come to the New York Fashion Week.[61]
Thank you, James.
Because of you my life has changed for the better.
You’ve taught me that true beauty comes from within.
You inspired me and pushed me so hard so that I could be where I am now.
You motivated me to go to NYFW when I didn’t think I had the potential to do so. You’ve groomed so many beautiful women and taught them that the only way to fail is by telling yourself that you aren’t worth. I dedicate this day to you. My friend. My agent. My mentor. My motivator. I love you & I will miss you. Rest easy knowing that you are loved by thousands.
