NELK, otherwise known as NELKFilmz and NELKBoys, is a videography production company composed of a group of three young pranksters. ^{[3] [6]} They are infamous on the internet for their viral video where they fooled the LAPD into believing that they had cocaine in the back of the SUV vehicle they were driving. ^[8]

NELKFilmz was launched by Kyle Forgeard and twins Niko and Marko Martinovic in 2010.

^[6] By the following year, Forgeard would continue to develop and create more entertaining videos.

Both Jesse Sebastiani and Lucas Gasparini would join NELK.

On November 7, 2018, Jesse Sebastiani was charged by police in Ohio while filming a prank for NELK and was found guilty of disorderly conduct, but the judge suspended his fine and court costs for what he termed a "humourous" act. Prior to his arrest, Sebastiani was seen apologizing to responding officers in the video — showing at least seven officers and multiple cruisers at the scene. A few minutes later, the video shows him being taken away by a police officer. On January 17, 2019, the group posted a new video that included footage of Sebastiani’s prank and subsequent court hearing.^[17]

On August 9, 2019, the NELK team revealed that four members had been pulled aside for questioning while in Germany during their journey to Russia.^[15]

"Kyle, Jesse, 905 and Steve were pulled aside at the security checkpoint while boarding their flight to Russia.

Questioning has been going on for over an hour thus far.

We are currently in contact with our Visa attorneys hoping to solve this issue immediately," a statement read on the creative collective’s Twitter. ^[15]

However, the group had not offered fans an update on their situation until a few hours later when they switched to Instagram. "Boys, we are all good and free, thank the fcking send gods!” their Instagram story started. Waiting to talk to our lawyer about what we can and can’t say about what happened today trying to board to Russia." They continued on: "Right now, we are stuck in fcking Germany. Not sure what the next move is but we’ll see what's good."^[15]

In their later upload, "Detained trying to enter Russia", - the group noted that during their detainment, they were held for around an hour before being told that their travels visas had been "revoked," despite having an international lawyer helping them out.^[17]

In the immediate aftermath, the YouTuber’s added:

In September 2019, the group's meetup in Dublin’s Phoenix Park didn’t go as expected: Instagram stories from the group show a horde of fans fleeing the area as police arrive on the scene to shut down the gathering. The group discussed the incident in a series of Instagram story videos, where they admitted that they were surprised by the amount of fans who turned up to the event.^[16]

On October 2019, NELK revealed on Instagram that they have parted ways with 905Shooter, whose name is Jason Pagaduan. In a post on their page, NELK wrote:

NELK posted the message on October 15, 2019, adding the caption, "A message to our fans.. NELK Season 3 coming very soon!"^[14]

The same day of the 905Shooter announcement, Dexerto.com reported that a NELK Boys fan was "hospitalized during Ibiza trip with the YouTubers."

It’s not clear whether that incident has any relation whatsoever to them letting 905Shooter go, though, and Twitter rumors took that question in a different direction.

They had announced that they were flying a couple lucky fans to Ibiza, but one of them was hospitalized after drinking too much, according to Dexerto.^[14]

Kyle was one of the founding members of NELK.

He is 23 years old and comes from Mississauga, Canada. In addition to his time on NELK, he has two credits on IMDb for appearing in films: Jack Vale Films (2016) and Internet Icon (2012).^[22]

Twins Niko and Mark Martinovic were original founding members of NELK with Kyle Forgeard.

Lucas Gasparini joined NELK in 2010 and quickly became a regular part of the channel. He is 22 years old, born in Greater Sudbury, Canada.^[22]

Born in June 1993, Jesse Sebastiani is part of the NELK crew and appears in multiple videos. He is originally from Orangeville, Ontario. He has one credit on IMDb outside of NELK channel which was for his part in Jack Vale Films (2016).^[22]

Alex is a production expert from Toronto. He handles the behind the scenes production and filming for NELK's videos. ^[22]

Jason Pagaduan is NELK's camera operator and director of photography. He is originally from Mississauga.^[22]

The NELK Boys have 4.5 million subscribers on their Youtube channel with pranks and over 2.9 million followers on Instagram as of April 2020.^[2][3]

On January 10th, 2015, members of Nelk were involved in a prank where they tricked the LAPD into thinking they have cocaine in the back of their trunk. ^{[8] [6]} The cops eventually caught on to the prank and let them go. ^[5]
