Neil Orne born (March 10, 1966) in the United States. He is an American reporter and a Co-anchor of Good Morning Nashville. He got employed as a News 2 presenter in 1995. [6]
Neil is an experienced, professional third-generation reporter, who had always loved the job of reporting from his childhood. To Neil, reporting is something he has always loved to do.
Before fame
Neil Orne once worked at Mid Coast Maine, at a small Radio station, before he moved to Tennessee for his weekend weather and reporting activities at WKRN-TV in 1995. [1]
Education
Neil Orne is a graduate of the Department of Economics and Business administration, at The University of Denver. At the University, Neil Orne was a member of the Lacrosse team.
Love affair
The 54 years old reporter has been married twice, but currently a divorcee.
His first wife was Heather Orne who once worked as a morning anchor at WKRN News 2. [8] They had two daughters together.
[5] In 2014, Neil got married to Karen Higbee, who also worked as a Journalist and producer in News 2. The marriage between Neil and Karen, lasted for three years and they got divorced in 2017.
His pets
Neil has three pet dogs (Charlie, Hank and Layla).
While Charlie and Hank are both Labrador Retriever, Layla is a Tibetan Terrier. Neil also has a rabbit called Butterscotch and a cat called Sammy.
Career
Neil Orne who joined News 2 in 1995, has won the Emmy Award twice and has contributed to covering major happenings in the city and weather events since the year of his employment. In April 1998 during the Tennessee tornado outbreak, Neil covered for almost 17 hours on the air. He also helped his station with their hurricane coverage since he got employed and made many tours to the gulf coast in its 2005 season. [4]
He presently hosts ‘Good Morning Nashville’ a program that runs between the hours of 4.m till 7 a.m on weekdays and News 2 at 11.[2]

Neil enjoys playing golf, flying and engaging in-home repairs.
He also finds pleasure in spending time with some of Nashville’s organizations such as Second Harvest Food Bank and The Nashville Ronald McDonald House.
