Neal Khosla is an American Entrepreneur and Software engineer based in Silicon Valley who is also known as the son of world renowned investor, Vinod Khosla. [1]

Biography

Neal is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area whose parents are Vinod Khosla and Neeru Khosla. He is of Indian background.

He is an alum of both Lick-Wilmerding High School and Menlo School, in which he graduated in 2011.

He is a graduate of Stanford University where he received both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Computer science. His concentration was in Artificial intelligence. He also majored in Mathematics. He was given the Class of 2015 Award of Excellence.

Career

Neal is a gifted programmer and software engineer who has interned at Google where he was a part of the team that worked on Machine intelligence. [1] [9]

He also cofounded a company called Totemic, which was a part of a Dorm Room Fund incubator, where he was also be a member of the investment team.

He is also the cofounder of Curai, where he is currently the COO.

Personal Life

While interning at Ayasdi, he befriended Muthu Alagappan, another fellow Stanford student who went on to revolutionize the way that Basketball is strategically seen as part of analysis and positioning. He was able to help Muthu with data and use of Ayasdi's software for his findings about Basketball. Neal helped Barack Obama, a basketball fan, make sense of the data and how it has changed the way positions work in the sport.
