Nathana Sharma
Nathana Sharma is a writer and speaker at the intersection of the impact of emerging technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence and machine brain interfaces, on law, policy and ethics and is faculty at Singularity University.
Career
Nathana started her career in 2012 as a Senior Research Analyst at MetaMed Research, Inc. In 2013 she served as a Clerk to Justice Neal Hendel at The Supreme Court of Israel. In 2014, she was a Legal Intern at USC Institute for Creative Technologies. From 2014 to 2017, Nathana worked at Gunderson Gunderson Dettmer, firstly as a Summer Associate and later as an Intellectual Property Associate. In 2016-2018 she was an Advisory Board Member of Creative Destruction Lab (Toronto). Currently, Nathana is a Principal Faculty in Blockchain, Law, Policy & Ethics at Singularity University.
Education
In 2009, Nathana received a Bachelor of Arts from University of Chicago. In 2015, she received joint Master of Business Administration /Juris Doctor from Yale School of Management and from Yale Law School. She also completed Graduate Studies Program at Singularity University and GradeFirst Year PhD at [New York University.3 ]
While studying, Nathana served as a Research Assistant Intern at University of Chicago Medicine: Kee Immunology Lab in 2005 to 2006. Later, she was a Student Docent at Smart Museum of Art, University of Chicago. During 2009 to 2010 Nathana was a Fulbright Research Scholar at Leipzig University, conducting research on decision making and cognitive bias in the philosophy of mind and neuroscience
