Nathan Burton is a magician and comedian.
Early Life
Burton was born in Oakland, California. He became passionate about magic very early in life, at the age of four, when he performed his first trick in front of his kindergarten class in the family’s hometown of Palm Desert, CA. [0]
Career
Burton is currently headlining a magic show at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino entitled "Nathan Burton Comedy Magic".
By the age of 18, Burton had already won four first place trophies at international competitions for his original blend of comedy magic, which later earned him multiple appearances on NBC’s The World’s Greatest Magic specials.
Burton headlined his first show at the Showboat Atlantic City hotel and casino in his early 20s. He went on to perform throughout Europe and later spent a year in South Korea, where his show involved vanishing an elephant.
Upon his return to the United States, Nathan started performing in Las Vegas. He was cast as the featured performer in Showgirls of Magic.
He began headlining in 2006 at the Aladdin Hotel & Casino.
The show later moved to the Flamingo Hotel in April of 2008, where he shared the stage with Donny & Marie Osmond. The show moved to its current location at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in 2012. [0]
Burton has had numerous television appearances including Larry King, NBC's America's Got Talent, TLC’s Miami Ink, VH1’s Surreal Life: Fame Games, The Food Network’s Last Cake Standing, truTV’s Storage Hunters, NBC's Miss USA Pageant, Lifetime's Coming Home, and China’s Got Talent – a live performance which was seen by an estimated 1.4 billion viewers.
