On Sunday, February 4, 2018, Ramos was arrested and charged with second degree-murder and attempted murder after fatally stabbing her son, herself and her boyfriend. [1]
Ramos’ boyfriend stated he was awakened by pain to his body and saw Ramos with a knife and a stun gun. She chased him but he locked himself in a bathroom. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition. [1]
Ramos was treated for self-inflicted cuts on her throat at Homestead Hospital.
She was taken into jail with no bond. [1]
