Naome Zuber was a 17-year-old senior at Curie High School.

[4]She was a big sister to three brothers, a cheerleader, concessions stand worker at US Cellular Field.

[10]Naome is from Chicago and planned to study criminal justice at college in Texas.

Death

At around 12:30 a.m. on October 1st, while Naome and three of her friends were driving to a birthday party in Back of the Yards, Chicago, a shooter opened fire at the vehicle they were in, hitting Naome in the head.

[3]She was rushed to Holy Cross Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

[4]Friends and family have set up a memorial in her honor.
