MPR Tito
Early Years
Growing up in the ghetto was a survival of the fittest hunt for MPR Tito. Coming from a poor background that hardly had enough to eat daily, he did his possible best to make it out in the ghetto. His mum struggled, trying to get some money and make ends meet.
"The typical thing that everybody’s seeing on the block, I’ve seen junkies". He said. "My mama tryna get us out the hood and everything. That’s how I started caring about rapping because I started seeing what it could do." [1]
Career
MPR Tito's style of music is unique, aggressive, and raw.
He got signed to Hoodrich Pablo Juan’s Money Power Respect label two years ago. He said "I see Hoodrich as my brother. I don’t see him the way everybody else sees him. We came from the same apartments, came from the same struggle. I’ve been with him since day one, so I see Hoodrich as family. Never going anywhere, we family. That’s my brother, that’s all I see him as."
After spending 3 months in LA prison, MPR Tito released his getaway single titled "Use Too", his brother Rocky, had recently passed away at that time.
The song "Use Too" served the purpose of getting him back to his feet.
He has successfully released three EPs, notwithstanding he continues to stay locked in the studio perfecting his craft.
Most recently he dropped the “Honor” visual, and he is currently working on his new EP MPRB.[2]
