Moshe Moskowitz (Baltimore, Maryland)

Moshe Moskowitz was a 13-year-old from Baltimore, Maryland. His father is a prominent Rabbi in the Baltimore area, Doniel Moskowitz. Moshe was an 8th-grade student at Talmudical Academy of Baltimore where his father taught for three decades.

Bike4Chai

Moshe Moskowitz (Baltimore, Maryland) and his older brother Naftali participate in the Bike4Chai charity Bike Event. They raised money for Camp Simcha, a sleepaway camp for children who have cancer. Moshe was the youngest participant in the 170-mile long race and completed it in August of 2016.

Death

On the evening of December 13th at around 9:15pm, Moshe and his 45-year-old mother Tamar Moskowitz were driving in a Dodge Caravan on I-95 in Maryland near the exit for Maryland Route 200 when they became involved in a serious multi-vehicle collision with three other vehicles, including a tractor-trailer. The cause of the accident was a Honda Pilot that became disabled in front of their Dodge Caravan.

Tamara was flown to Medstar Hospital where she is battling life-threatening injuries.

Moshe Moskowitz (Baltimore, Maryland) was taken to a children's hospital where he later died from his injuries.
