Mos streamlines the process of applying for student aid, providing a single application for all $135 billion in federal and state financial aid. Mos takes it's name from the Star Wars franchise where Luke Skywalker is originally from the desert of Mos Espa.
Mos was founded by activist and entrepreneur Amira Yahyaoui. She noticed that while there is $135 billion dollars set aside for financial aid, not all of it gets used and that's partly due to the confusing application process. Amira created Mos to save students the time and hassle of applying for financial aid the traditional way. Mos boasts an average of $15,000 in financial aid delivered per student per year and if Mos can't find a student at least double their fee in aid, they will give the money back.
