Monophonics (Band)
Monophonics is a psychedelic soul (aka "Black Rock") band based in San Francisco, California.
[0]Some of their more popular singles include "Bang Bang", "Goliath", and "Promises"[14].
Their cover of Sonny Bono's "Bang Bang" gave them international recognition, which they are leveraging with their European tour with French artist Ben l’Oncle Soul [16]
History
The band was created in 2005 by Ian McDonald (guitar), Myles O'Mahony (bass), Ryan Scott (trumpet), Alex Baky (saxophone), and Austin Bohemian (drums).
The band has played at various festivals such as the New Orleans Jazz Festivals, Blacksheep Family Reunion, and High Sierra.
