They currently live separately and are banned from having close contact as ordained by the court.

The couple claim that it's due to Genetic sexual attraction.

Mara states that she hopes to continue the romance with her son, and that after she gets out of prison, she plans to move to another state where they can both be together lawfully, but it is against the law in all of 50 states in United States of America.
