Moni Basu is an Indian-American journalist based in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a senior reporter on CNN Digital's Enterprise team.

She attended Hollywood High School and Amos P. Godby High School.

Basu attended Florida State University from 1980-1983. She received a Bachelor of Arts in political science and an M.A. in International relations and affairs.

Basu has been a journalist for more than three decades. From 2002 to 2013, she covered the Iraq War.

Basu was born in Kolkata, India.
