Molly Hudgens is a school counselor at Sycamore Middle School.
Molly is a graduate of Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor's degree in English and Allied Language Arts and a Master's degree in School Counseling.
Molly began teaching in 1999 at Sycamore Middle School teaching languages and joined the counseling department in 2006.
She lives in the East Cheatham area on a farm with her husband two sons.
In September 2016, Molly was hailed as a hero for talking a 14 year old school shooter into giving her his gun.
Molly spoke with the student who entered the building for about 45 minutes before the student gave her the gun.
