Mollie Cecilia Tibbetts (May 8, 1998 - July 2018) was an American college student. She was attending the University of Iowa before being murdered.
Education
Before her death, Tibbets was studying Psychology at UIowa.
Disappearance & Death
On July 18, 2018, Tibbetts left for an evening run from a house where she was dog sitting with her boyfriend in Brooklyn, Iowa at about 10:00 p.m. local time on and had not been seen since.
On August 21, 2018, authorities stated that a body believed to be Tibbetts was discovered in rural Poweshiek County. [1] They identified 24-year-old Cristhian Bahena Rivera as a suspect using surveillance camera footage that showed his car following her on her jog.
