Career
Early beginnings
He began his career at age 21, organizing parties at a local bar in Corona where he would Dj while still studying at the University of California Riverside. Eventually he began throwing electronic dance music based events at another local venue, which led him to become friends with the famous Iraeli Dj Borgore.
Shalizi and Borgore grew very close and Borgore offered him to be a managing partner of a new venture he was forming called Buygore Management.
Even though Shalizi had no experience in artist management he still decided to take the opportunity.
After graduating college, Shalizi was faced with the decision of going for a career in finance or sticking with music management, which wasn’t a very profitable venture for him at the time.
He decided to stick with managing and was able to break his artist Jauz who gained massive success from his singleFeel The Volume.
In 2014, Shalizi left Buygore Management and began managing independently.
In 2015 he decided to join Red Light Management where he currently continues to help lead the Electronic Division.
