Sunderland is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, Class of 2014, where he majored in Writing. He attended American Heritage School (Plantation, Florida). [1]

Career

Sunderland joined Vice Magazine in 2013 as Weekend Editor. He has written feature-length profiles of Ann Coulter, Rachel A. Dolezal, Paris Hilton, and other celebrities.

In October 2017, Sunderland was fired when it was revealed in a BuzzFeed article that he had been in contact with Alt right provocateur Milo Yiannopolos. Sunderland once requested for Yiannopolos to write a hit piece on feminist author Lindy West, asking him to "please mock this fat feminist". [2]
