Miranda Elizabeth May (born on April 6, 1996) ​ is an actor, known for her roles in Disney ​'s Bunk'd ​ and Liv and Maddie ​

Miranda May was born in Bowling Green, Ohio ​. She is the youngest of her parents' four children.

When she was 10 years old, she moved to Los Angeles. At the time, she had started doing stand-up comedy ​. She recalls giving Ben Stiller ​ her stand-up material on DVD. After listening to it, he called her hotel room to encourage her to keep doing what she is doing. ^[1]​

Miranda May started stand-up comedy and acting at a young age.

With regards to comedy, she has performed at the Hollywood Improv ​ and Harrah's Hotel in Las Vegas. ​

Miranda May made her acting debut when she was 11 years old on the feature film The Heartbreak Kid, starring Ben Stiller ​ and Malin Åkerman ​; she earned the part after two auditions. She then went on to act in the film Lower Learning ​  starring Eva Longoria ​ and Jason Biggs ​. ^[1]​

After solidifying herself in the film/movie industry, she started making appearances on television series.

She started by fulfilling the role of a young Melissa McCarthy on Samantha Who? ​  and followed that with a guest-starring role on the series ER. ^[1]​

She eventually moved to larger roles on the Disney ​ channel. She played the role of Spacey Lacey in Liv and Maddie ​ and then co-starred on the show Bunk'd  - a spin-off of Jessie- with Kevin Quinn.

Aside from acting, Miranda enjoys scriptwriting ​, singing, reading, and shopping with friends. She also loves fashion and hopes to one day own her own clothing line. ​

Her biggest inspiration is Lucille Ball ​. ​

She has three siblings and enjoys spending time with her Morkie ​ dog named Bentley. ​

Since 2016, Miranda May has been working out to lose weight.
