Miralys Stephanie Agosto-England (born July 5, 1994) is a former teacher's assistant from Kissimmee, Florida in Osceola County, Florida. In May 2018 she was charged with the sexual battery of a disabled 16-year-old boy who was in 7th grade. [1]

Career

Miralys Agosto-England was a teaching assistant at Westside K-8 School in Kissimmee, Florida. She resigned from her position on May 7, 2018 the same day a student reported sexual batter allegations against her. [1] A spokesperson for the Osceola County School District said Agosoto was a teacher paraprofessional with the school since Dec. 12, 2017.

On Thursday, May 10, 2018 Miralys Agosto-England was arrested after allegedly having sex with a disabled 16-year-old boy who was in 7th grade. The student was part of the Exceptional Student Education (ESE) program for students with disabilities. [1]

The student told investigators that he had two sexual encounters with Agosto since April 26, 2018.

During questioning with investigators on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 Agosto admitted to engaging in a sexual relationship with the boy, deputies said.

Agosto faces two charges of sexual battery by person in custodial authority with a victim younger than 18.
