Early Life
She is a Korean born to Korean parents and has the ethnicity of Asian.
From a very young age she was never interested in becoming an actress, model or singer but she fell in love with fashion and always wanted to create her own clothes.
In 1966 she attended Meiji Gakuin University where she studied for a degree in English. She stayed in Japan for the duration of her studies then decided to pursue a career in the US making her move to Hawaii.
It was during that time she began working in the sales department of an high profile fashion brands such as Louis Vuitton.
Career
She started her career as a Supervisor at Louis Vuitton in Hawaii.
The company deals with top brands including Sephora, Chanel, La Perla, Celine Inc etc. She worked up the corporate ladder and got the opportunity to work as a supervisor for Louis Vuitton.
The company is a luxurious fashion house and retail company, selling a variety of ready to wear, trunks, shoes, watches, accessories, plus leather goods etc.
She became an experienced sales manager and also ventured towards fashion design, and started gaining attention for her design capabilities and eventually moved to the company Prada in which she serves as the General Manager.
Personal Life
She is married to Sung Kang and they are both committed to a cherishable bond for many years.They both got married on July 8th 2014 in an intimate ceremony, inviting their closest friends and family relatives.
The duo first met in Koreantown Karaoke where sung was singing where doves cry and Miki teased Sung about his voice and they shortly began dating.
The two previously owned a restaurant Saketini located in Brentwood, Los Angeles, California although the restaurant eventually closed down in 2013.
