Mike Fafaul

Mike Fafaul is a University of California, Los Angeles back-up quarterback. Fafaul was pressed into duty in the 2016 College Football Season as UCLA Bruins starting quarterback Josh Rosen was ruled out for multiple games due to a shoulder nerve injury.

2016 Season

In the 2016 matchup vs. the Washington State Cougars Fafaul started his first complete collegiate game in the Bruins 21-27 loss to the Cougars.

On October 22, 2016, against the Utah Utes, Fafaul set a school record for passing attempts with 70 pass attempts in the game as the Bruins lost 52-45.

His 40 pass completions were also a school record for number of completions in one game.

Fafaul also threw five touchdown passes but was picked off four times.

Before his walk-on UCLA career, Fafaul led national powerhouse Fork Union Military Academy to an 8-1 record in his (PG) post-graduate prep year where he threw 14 touchdown passes and beat arch rival Hargrave twice in his 2011 season.
