Mike Cugno is a native of Miami, Florida. He is an American Journalist who works at the WFOR-TV CBS 4 as both a Sports Anchor and Reporter. He is a professional in the broadcast media industry, with skills such as news writing, television reporting, Facebook journalism, Dalet and Broadcast journalism.[1]
Background
Mike Cugno was born and bred in Miami, he graduated from Christopher Columbus High School (Miami-Dade County). He also bagged his Bachelor of Arts degree in Media and Communications, with a minor in Business from the Florida State University.[5] He currently resides in Miami, Florida.
Career
Mike Cugno started his career as an on-air-reporter and a sideline news Journalist at the Generation Next, South Florida, from September 2013 through December 2013 , while he was there he majorly Interviewed local coaches and athletes; created feature stories, he also covered for the multi-platform youth sports news company in the country .
Prior to joining WFOR-TV in October 2014, he also worked with WTVJ NBC 6 South Florida, where he worked for three great years (July 2011 through October 2014) as an associate sports producer. He is skilled in the use of Microsoft Office , iNews , DaletPlus , Edius Edit Station , Final Cut which makes him an excellent producer.
At CBS 4 he co-hosts the "CBS4 Sports Desk" which holds every Sunday evening. He is also the host of the “Dolphins Weekly Live” a 30-minute Sunday show and major reporter for the CBS 4 “5th Quarter Post game Show” .
