On October 18, 2017, Martinez was found guilty of sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl inside a home he shares with a relative.

The 10-year-old’s mother reported to Casper police in March that her daughter had been sexually assaulted in the bathroom of their home.

Martinez invited her into the bathroom, touched her breasts and genitalia before penetrating her. [1] He was also drunk on the night of the assault and a breath test showed he had a blood alcohol concentration of.218, nearly three times the legal limit to drive. [1]

Martinez faces up to 70 years in prison.

He will be sentenced at a later date.
