In her current role at Land O' Lakes, Michele is responsible for developing strategic business partnerships, developing new business models and creating new revenue streams, and continuously building upon and expanding on the strong expertise of Land O' Lakes in sustainable agriculture.
Previous experience of Michele's included developing and executing the 3M brand strategy, advertising, partnerships, and communications.
As the Director of Global Sustainability, Michele was responsible for developing business strategy, engaging and developing relationships with key stakeholders and customers, developing and executing business sustainability communication strategy and driving global integration of sustainability into business processes, new products and markets.
She has experience in manufacturing operations, environmental engineering and compliance management, capital project management, Six Sigma, regulatory affairs & public policy, new product development, and marketing.
Michele is a mother of (4) and a passionate advocate for ensuring the protection of children and advancing women’s rights around the world.
She was the creator and founder of the Twin Cities Youthlink Executive Sleepout.
An event designed to raise financial support for and build awareness of the plight of homeless youth.
Her work on issues of global women’s rights has particular focus on the world-wide issue of honor violence as well as general domestic violence.
She is currently on the board of Dovetail Partners and the advisory boards for The Advocates for Human Rights and Honor Diaries.
