Michael Vaudreuil is a recent mechanical engineering graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Graduating in 2016, it took Vaudreuil nearly a decade to earn his degree in mechanical engineering with a minor in psychology.

Vaudreuil was affected by the 2008 recession losing his business Vaudreuil Plastering.

He decided to take up a job as a custodian at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

With the offer of free classes for school employees Vaudreuil began to enroll in night classes in 2008.

Taking one to two classes per semester he managed to graduate in 8 years.

Vaudreuil managed to earn himself a GPA of 3.65 and graduated with the title of Honors of High Distinction.
