Michael Dubke is the Communications Director of the White House. He works under President Donald Trump and White House Press Secratary Sean Spicer. He hails from Buffalo, New York. [1]
Career
Dubke was an outspoken critic of Pat Buchanan's Presidential campaign in 1996.
In 2001, Dubke founded Crossroads Media LLC, a Republican media services company that serves American Crossroads, a Super PAC run by Karl Rove.
In addition to that, he co-founded and was the president of Americans for Job Security, a pro-business league in Virginia. That organization was active in 45 states and spent over $55 million on advocacy for select issues. Prior to that, he was the Executive Director of the Ripon Society and Ripon Educational Fund. The organization is a public policy think tank that was founded in 1962.
In 2016, Dubke’s consulting firm BlackRock Group was hired by Senator. Lisa Murkowski as lead strategist for her re-election campaign.
Personal Life
He is married to Shannon Dubke, CEO of D Enterprises. They have two teenage boys and live in Alexandria, Virginia.
