Mia N. Shaw is a Model, an Investigative reporter, a Writer, a Columnist, and among many other things. A native of the
San Francisco Bay Area, she has also been involved in several government positions, and currently runs a publication called Justice Writers, which she co-founded and is the Editor in Chief. [0]

She was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She attended Lowell High School where she participated in a number of activities and societies including: Varsity Speech and Debate; advanced choir; mock trial where she won the state championship, and few others. [3]
While in high school, she was also an intern for the California State Assembly. [3]
Mia graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Political economy, Public policy, Biology, and Rhetoric. While at UCB, she was involved in dozens of programs. She distinguished herself as a first-year student by writing a column for The Daily Californian. She then interned and wrote potent articles for various publications including USA TODAY, CNN, Capitol
weekly, Independent Voter Network News, and The Energy Collective.
For some of these publications she wrote for them while doing work in Washington DC. [3]
She also interned for a radio station too.
This included legendary radio station, KPFA. [3]
For both the USA Today and The Daily Californian, was published in the national print edition with the former at about 1.5 million printed papers, and the latter about a total of 300,000 printed copies of her published written work.
She was appointed to the Community Health Commission for the City of Berkeley by Mayor Tom Bates and served on the Mayor's Health Task Force.
In all of her political work and writing for big publications, she also found the time to do modeling for Boom Models and talent.
** Mia is the co-founder and Editor in Chief of Justice Writers, an online publication dedicated to reporting information related to hate crimes in the era of Donald Trump. Within the first month of their launch, they gained over 100,000 followers. [8]
