Messiah Jones-Jarvis is a one and a half-year-old boy from Portsmouth, Virginia. He and his sister Dominique Jarvis were kidnapped by their mother Asia Jarvis on April 14, 2017. The children were found safe at midnight the same day however Asia is still at large. ^{[4] [0]}

On April 14, 2017 Asia Jarvis threatened to kill and kidnapped her two

birth children 5-year-old Dominique Jarvis and 1 ½ year-old Messiah Jarvis who were in the custody of their father.

She had threatened to kill the children if the father does not pay for her money.

An AMBER Alert was issued the same day to help find the children.

Just after 12 a.m. Saturday, police said Asia dropped the boys off at a family member’s home.

Asia remains at large.

The AMBER Alert has since been cancelled. ^[4]

According to detectives, 5-year-old Dominique Jarvis and 1 ½ year-old Messiah Jarvis were last seen at a home in the 1100 block of Carrington Crescent by their father Friday morning.

The father has custody of the children.

He received a message from the mother that concerned him so he called police.

Police have two active warrants on file for felony abduction for Asia.

Police said the children will continue to remain in immediate danger as long as they are with the mother.

Messiah Jarvis is a 1 ½ year-old black male who has brown hair and brown eyes.

Messiah was last seen wearing yellow and black pants and a white t-shirt.

Asia Jarvis is a 24-year-old black female who is 5’8”, and 215 pounds.

She has black hair and brown eyes.

Jarvis was last seen wearing a blue night robe, green tights and an oversized shirt.

She may be driving a black Jeep Patriot.

Dominique Jarvis is a 5-year-old black male with brown hair and brown eyes.Dominique

was last seen wearing a blue and red shirt and pajama pants.
