Merebel is an open source cryptocurrency and is a blockchain platform which offers fast transaction and complete anonymity. It is an altcoin with a focus on privacy, decentralization and real-world used cases. The currency permits fast transactions that can be untraceable. ^[2][3][4][5]

Merebel was created by Christian Breitfub, It was launched on 20 July 2018 and is currently trading at crypto bridge, Crex24, Graviex, Finexbox and Escodex.

Chris has been associated with other small fintech companies in Austria since 2013 and has a passion towards blockchain.

Merebel currency has 30 active developers contributing to the project and the majority of the team is based in Austria. Merebel has a native token named “MERI”, a masternode platform and is expected to launch MERI debit cards in 2020.

Merebel is backed with fast transaction processor and can handle 30 transactions per second (tps).

Masternodes

Merebel utilized a network of masternodes that provides a key function for the operations of the project.

The minimum requirement to setup a masternode is 3000 MERI.

The current returns for masternodes are available in bitcoin and Merebel’s own currency, the project however is planning to include other currencies as well as returns. After setting up masternode, the real-time rewards get converted in 8 hours.

Merebel offers multiple loyalty rewards and bounty programs for various of its products and services which include masternode reward, automated reward exchange, bitcoin reward, bitcoin wallet, capital appreciation of the underlying coin, referral program for master nodes and more importantly rewards on referring MERI debit card.

The project is aiming to build a complete blockchain eco-system whereby a token would be used as a medium of exchange on several exchanges, as a medium of investment in Merebel wallet and as a means of rewards via Merebel master nodes.
